A banda nova-iorquina Interpol foi formada em 1998 por Paul Banks (voz e guitarra), Carlos Dengler (baixo e teclado), Daniel Kessler (guitarra) e Greg Drudy (bateria), que deixou a banda em 2000, sendo substituído por Sam Fogarino.
